blessing

We Blessed this handsome boy Sunday October 14th,2012. They day started like any crazy Sunday would when anything importanat is going on. Brandon finally returned home from work at about 10am after having to go in the night before at 8:30pm. He took an hour nap and got up to get ready for church. I was trying to get the mommies all wrapped ready for the dinner after church and also get 3 boys dressed and ready for church. Well good news is we did make it to church on time so that was a plus (and a miracle). The meeting started and there was another baby being blessed. So they all gathered to bless this cute little guy. Then they showed the crowed the baby and sat down. Then the bishop got up and said we were ready to start the sacrement. WAIT! They had forgotten little Weiss was getting blessed. Thank goodness we were on the second row. So Brandon started making loud throat clearing noises and hollering Bishop! Bishop!  We got his attention and he was like.. Ooops just kidding we have another blessing! :)  So then it was little Weiss' turn to be blessed. Brandon gave and exellent blessing. Blessing him with everything a little guy with 2 older, bigger brothers would need to survive!  Then the cute Bishop asked if there were any more blessing..LOL!  Then we hurried home after sacrement to finish preparing the food for the wonderful people who came to Weiss' blessing. We went with a Halloween theme on the food. So we had some witches brew (chilli, and soup), some bone (bread) sticks, mummies in a blanket, zombie eyes (deviled eggs), a whole grave yard to eat(7 layer dip!) and all kind of fun spooky veggies to eat. It turned out great!
