Valentines Day/week!!

I kind of thought it would be fun for Vaughn if he got little deliveries every day for the week before Valentines Day. So I made the girls at work help me make this mailbox for him to decorate. Thanks girls (aka mostly Malissa) for the great idea how to put this together. Then after I got it all made I found out you can just buy already made mailboxes at Wal-mart.. That would have been nice to know.. oh well next year. But here is his mailbox. He had so much fun decorating it.
He mostly wanted to put the hearts on the top of the mailbox or inside the mailbox. But it turned out pretty good.

Day 1, Monday. His first delivery.
YES!! A new CAR and a treat!!
Day 2, Tuesday: M&M guy!!

Day 3, Wed. By this time he was catching on more to what was going on and getting excited to open his mailbox!
Alright another CAR and treats!!

Day 4, Thurs. Chocolate I LOVE YOUS!!

Day 5, Friday. Holy cow ANOTHER car!! And some candy!

Day 6, Sat. Bear with BUBBLE GUM!!
Day 7,Sunday, Valentines Day!! Final gift:

What every boy wants, or atleast Vaughn and his dad.....Star Wars guys!!!

It turned out he really loved the idea of the mailbox.. It was cute and a little sad when this morning he ran up to the living room wanting to see the surprise in his mailbox for today. I felt a little bad telling him that the deliveries were done we were done with Valentines day. Poor guy. He took it pretty good though.
Then on Valentines Day I made my boys a special breakfast with love. In case you can't tell that a heart in the middle of the toast.

Then I was extra spoiled by my sweety this year. First on thursday he gave me my favorite, chocolate covered strawberries!! Then he took me out to dinner Friday night at Chilli's. Then I had to work Sat. and I got a special surprise delivery of FLOWERS the cutest card that made me cry. This was the BEST Valentines Day EVER!! Thanks Hon! Your the BEST Husband EVER!! I love you so much!

I love the idea of the mailbox. I will have to remember to do that for my kids next year. Ü
