Good Idea or not?...

Vaughn came to me today with an idea he wanted to do outside.. being unsure about this activity we asked dad aka Brandon what he thought. So we stuck a helmet on him and decided to give it a try.
Looks pretty harmless don't you think? Just a kid on his 4 wheeler on the grass.

Until you see where he's headed: Is this really a good idea? Maybe not but lets give it a go!

He seems to still be ok. He made it to the bottom alive atleast! No big crashes!

Vaughn thought it was a great idea and was headed back up the hill for more fun!!

Come to find out this idea was given to my son by this man:

Thats right Vaughns Papa! I guess he came up with the idea the night before and they were out there riding down the hill.. Silly boys!

Me and Bran went out on a date last night to the Depeche Mode Concert! Here we are riding in our car: We ate dinner at the Sconecutter. I have never been to the Sonecutter so it took me a few min to decide what to eat. But I settled for a yummy chicken club sandwich. Bran ran in and ordered his food cause he knew immediatly what he wanted. He got the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast scone.

Then we headed to the concert. Here we are waiting in the dark for the concert to begin.

It was a great concert!! But I can tell Im getting old when it was over I was soo tired and ready to be home in my bed asleep and it was only 11:30.. oh well. Thanks hon that was a GREAT date. Next time I get to pick the concert we go to!

We go up to Bear Lake every year with my whole family. Well now it more like whoever can make it. But this year me and vaughn went up a night earlier then everyone else to hang out with our good friends Jen and her son Ashton! So we headed up sun night with them and stayed in her parents trailer then the next day we headed down to the beach for some fun!

Vaughn and Ashton play really good together so it was nice for me and Jen to just sit back and relax for the most part. Unless they wanted us to join in on their fun.

After the beach we went back to the trailer to pack up.

Then we went and got shakes cause you can't go to Bear Lake without getting a shake!

Here we all are loaded up in the car. Jen was kind enough to drive ALL over Bear Lake so I could find my family. Thanks Jen!

We had a lot of fun with Jen and Ashton. Thanks for letting me invite myself along! We'll have to do another group trip again!

Finally we met up with my family at our camp ground. Here we all are just hanging out at the camp ground:

Vaughn figured out pretty fast how to unzip the tent. He loved going in and out of our tent and everyone elses. He would just invited himself in.

We had a great trip! Hanging out with friends and Family! Playing hand and foot! Playing on the beach! The only not so good part was sleeping in the same bed with Vaughn. He is a noisey sleeper! And every move he made woke me up to see if he was alright. Man I didn't get very much sleep. Oh well it was still fun!! And maybe next year Bran will not be a party pooper and join us up at Bear Lake!!
