Here's what we have been doing:

Sorry Its been so long since I last posted. Heres what we have been doing the last month. First there was Easter! Vaughn was so cute this year with Easter. He was way excited about his basket and all the CANDY!!

We went out into the back yard to looked for Easter eggs. Vaughn thought this was GREAT!! Especially cause all the eggs looked like BALLS!!

Here's all of Vaughn's goodies he got for Easter:

Next Event: We went up to Logan for their Baby Animal Days!! It was soo much fun. I think. We went with my mom, my sister and my niece Tai. We had to wait in long lines to get to hold any of the animals. Vaughn loved holding the duck. But when we went to go hold the bunnies he didn't like that at all.

Then we went on a horse and carriage ride. The kids thought that was way cool! After that we went over and held some baby turtles. The turtle kept climbing up Vaughns arm, he thought that was pretty darn funny.

My niece wanted to go on a horse back ride so Tai, Vaughn and I stood in line to ride the horses. Tai and all the other little kids were way excited to ride the horses. Then there was my child who was way excited to wear the helmet they had to wear to ride the horses. The whole horse ride he kept talking about his hat. He was really upset when we had to take the hat off and give it back.

Then Finally for the WAY exciting news!! We SOLD our house!! YEAH!! Were now living with my parents for a few months while our house gets built. Heres a picture of our dirt:

And thats about it for us right now. Vaughns going to be having a Birthday soon!! So that will be our next big event!

Spiderman!

Brandon is really into Spiderman and Vaughn is starting to like him too. So we had to take this picture. Here he is in his Spiderman jammies, eating off of his Spiderman plate with his Spiderman cup and you can't see it but yep thats a Spiderman fork he is eating with.

Union Station

They were having a model train event at the Union Station today and we thought it would be fun to take Vaughn to it. He's been kind of into "Toot Toot's" lately. It was so much fun! He had a lot of fun! This is in one of the model trains they have inside. He wanted to climb up and look out the window. This is him from outside the model. He wouldn't turn around and look at us so we could take a picture so we went outside and took this one.

One of the sets of trains was made out of Legos! So we spent quite a bit of time there checking it out. You can kind of see some of it behind us in these two pictures. They also had a set that had ALL the characters of "CARS" and the little city of Radiator Springs, Vaughn thought that was the coolest thing EVER! Cars AND Toot Toot's!! What a lucky guy!

Outside the Union Station they had this little train you could ride. And just because it was little didn't mean just little people could ride it. Nope BIG kids could too!

They had all the big trains open so you could go into them. Here we are on the mail train.

Vaughn wanted to climb on the trains but we thought he was a little to little for those big trains. So we just let him stand on the front of this one.

Then mom felt bad that he was the only kid not climbing all over the trains. So me and Vaughn climbed up and went into this train.

Then we decided it was time to go. As soon as we got in the car Vaughn was out! You can't really tell 'cause he had to have his sunglasses on. Man that boy is CUTE!!

Winter Fun!!

Were all bundled up and ready to play in the snow! We headed to my moms back yard to go sledding down their hill. I tried to pull Vaughn up the hill on the sled but apparently that didn't work!

Finally were BOTH at the top and ready to go!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

That was fun!!

Now Vaughn and Tai take some turns going down the hill!

Then Grandpa Aaberg comes out to play and has fun going down the hill with the kids!

Then we decided to make a snowman! Vaughn got very excited about the BIG snowballs!!

Man what a fun day with the family!!

What we've been doing..

So Its been awhile since I have posted but I have been really boring so there is not much to post about. So I'll type up a few words. I have started a new position at America First and Im loving it! All the girls are so cute and nice! They only bad thing is Im now 40 hours. Man I didnt realize working just 1 more day a week would be so hard. But it's ok. Brandons just up to the same old boring thing working. Vaughns getting cuter by the min tho. He is just the funniest thing! I could just sit and watch that boy forever he cracks me up. Some funny things he does: his new favorite movie is cars which he calls go. He'll come over to me grab my finger drag me down to the tv, point at it and says go, go. Its so cute. He also LOVES shoes he has to try EVERYONE'S shoes on. At my grandmas we usually take our shoes off and leave them by the door. Thats SHOE heaven for Vaughn. He tries them all on and models them around the house. He is starting to pick up on a bunch of new words and be a parrot to mom and dad. Its so fun to hear him talk. But he's not much of a show off. We try and get him to say things so other people can hear but he just sits there laughing at mom and dad saying the words over and over.. He thinks thats funny.
Oh Jordan got my house officially listed today! So hopefully, soon, we will be moving! I can't wait!

Christmas

Man I just realized that I never posted about Christmas! SO here on The Brooks blog it goes New Years then Christmas so here it is: Christmas Eve we go to my Grandmas house and have our big Family Christmas Party. Heres a few pictures of my fam! Then Christmas morning we got up and opened our Christmas presents at home. Vaughn was so cute he was so excited to unwrap presents this is him unwrapping what Santa brought him:

I gave Bran a surprise gift of a Lakers Jacket. I guess he kind of liked it:

Then we went to my moms house next. There we ate breakfast, opened MORE presents and played some games together. Vaughn got a little anxious waiting for people to open there gifts that he just started opening up all of his. He is so funny! This is Vaughn and his cousin Tay.

Then after that it was off the Brandons family. There we opened up even MORE presents and ate some lunch! This is Brandons mom, his wife and son:

Then after that we drove down to Salt Lake to see Brandons grandparents. Man it was a crazy day!
