Kickball!

We signed Vaughn up for kickball this summer. He said he hated it BUT he went and played in every game! AND the last few games he was getting pretty proud of how hard and far he could kick the ball! It was really fun to watch the kids learn how to play kick ball. The first few games were pretty funny to watch. The kids didn't know what to do when the coaches pitched the ball at them or which base to run to. Some would even kick the ball then go and get it and take it to the base with them. The funniest was when we would tell the runner to run to the next base and he AND the baseman would run to the next base and the coach would have to send him back. So us spectators had a great time watching! Here are some pictures of them playing:

 

 

Air Show!

We ventured out today to see the planes at the air show.
Here we are on the bus ride over to the show.

We stood in line for like an hour to walk thru this plane.

Well two planes later it started to down pour and thunder and lightning.
We took shelter in an air force tent for a bit till it slowed down a little then
we decided to leave and head back to the bus. The boys were in the stroller with
a big shade/umbrella thing and Brandon was holding our umbrella. But it wasnt
helping me too much. So I pulled out the rain coat I had brought for Marshall and
wore it. It worked pretty good for a hat. Brandon thought I looked pretty funny.

Here we are finally on the bus and heading back to our car.
we were pretty packed onto the bus so we all tried to fit on 2 seats.
We had a good time even tho we were soaking wet and freezing cold.
Good thing we don't live to far away!

5 years old!!

I can't believe Vaughn is 5 yrs old! Crazy!
He wanted to have his birthday party at Chuck E Cheese!

So we invited his friends and family out to celebrate with us!

Vaughn had a great time at his party! Almost all of his friends were able to come!
He got enought tickets that he got himself a little knight set!

Then on his actual birthday,May 25th,  we just hung out at home.
He opened the presents his mom and dad gave hime.
Then we watched Puss n Boots.

I hope he had a good birthday! 

Preschool Graduation!

Well today was Vaughn's last day as a preschooler in Mrs Jills class.

Next year kindergarten. I can't believe he is that old!
