De-Clubbin'

Marshall was born with clubbed feet. Just another adventure with this kid! This is how clubbed feet look:
Well to fix clubbed feet they get to wear casts on there legs to slowly stretch the feet back out to normal feet position. So we get to go down to Primary Childrens hospital once a week to change the casts into a different position. We get to do this for atleast 3-6 weeks. Well this week was week #1. So here's Marshall in his casts:

It was quite the day yesterday. He was just so mad that he couldn't bend or move his legs. It seemed like tonight he was doing a little better. I think he will slowly get use to it. Maybe. Now were just waiting for all the looks and comments were going to get when strangers see our baby with 2 casts on his legs.

Mac N Cheese explosion!!

Vaughn lately loves to get into our tub. The other day I turned the jets on while he was in there and he thought that was the greatest thing EVER! The jets made the little bit of soap in there bubbles and it bubbled up all around him, extra cool and exciting to a 3 year old. He kept calling it a mac n' cheese explosion!! Here he is in the middle of the explosion!

3 years old!

I can't believe Vaughn is 3 years old! It went too fast!

Happy Birthday Vaughn!

Vaughn had a very Happy Birthday!! On sunday we had his aunt, uncles, grandparents and a cousin over to celebrate! We grilled up some steaks and had a yummy dinner. Then we finally got to the part Vaughn was excited for: opening his presents!! He wanted to open them since he got up first thing in the morning. I kept telling him he had to wait till everyone got there before he could open them. So then he kept asking " is everyone here yet?" It was a long day! But here he is FINALLY opening them up: He got a Buzz Lightyear gun, which he picked out. He was so funny he saw it in the store and wouldn't put it down. He kept telling us this is what he wanted for his birthday and we needed to go to they buyer thing and buy it. He is so funny.
Then his dad got him these airplanes:
Grandma and Grandpa Aaberg got him a grill!
Uncle Jordan and Aunt Kim got him more food for his grill, an apron and a chef's hat to wear while grilling:

Uncle Alan and Aunt Jayna got him the Handy Manny tools!
And Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa Brooks got him this cool pirate ship water toy!
He got lots of great thing! I guess Bran wasn't too excited about the present opening since he didn't stay awake thru it:
Then it was time for cake and ice cream! Vaughn wanted a Thomas the train cake. My mom has this cool pan that cooks the cake to really look like a train. Then I just frosted it to make it look like Thomas. I think it turned out pretty good. Or atleast I think you can tell its Thomas.

Vaughn digging into what was left of the cake after everyone had had some:

What a mess!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Vaughn!!

Fashion by Vaughn:

In this picture Vaughn is sporting his Spider-man robe that seems to be complimenting the bright orange shirt. He tries to tone down the loud outfit with some neutral color pants and of course a black ski hat.. No outfit of Vaughns is complete without these alligator boots. Shorts or pants? It doesn't matter they go with everything!
Here were going for more of the rugged outdoorsy boy. Camo shirt, Dad's big gloves and the bright yellow hat, just so mom won't completely loose him.

The new spring fashion is to try and wear as many colors at one time!
You can never wear too many layers. Also make sure you have everything covered from head to toe!
Now your stylin' with Vaughn!
Disclaimer: Vaughn did all the dressing himself, mom in no way took part or influenced his fashion choices. Hey, were not going any where plus it's not worth the fight.
